It was a warm ballsy tone. Plug it into a big muff or overdrive and you get Billy Gibbons, a biting gritty sound, much like the guitar. The pickups are super high output. Once I had it set up it plays great as well. The body shape was weird at first, but I keep coming back to this bass. I would love to hear one of you guys play one. The ... The rest of us!
