Rotosound RB 45 Nickel Roundwounds

I bought these off eBay to give them a spin, and I have to say that I have been extremely impressed with them so far. I have used one other Rotosound nickel set in the past, but they were different from these.

They are much brighter than other nickels I have tried before, and they stay in tune on my Kahler rock solid. They have a great piano tone, and play really easily.

Once I finally get a Kahler installed on my Spector (finally got it back, but the guy didn't some template or something to route it and flat out refused to route such a nice bass by hand, going to take it to another guy tomorrow), I want to experiment with new strings. So far, I've mostly had DR Sunbeams on that bass, which are nice, but I wish they lasted longer. I've tried out DR Bootzillas, Extra Lifes, and Rotosound Nexus coated strings on my Kramer. And I've used Hi Beams on my 5 string ...

What are the best strings for trem use. I know lighter strings=greater range, but what else? Stainless or nickel? Model? manufacturer?

What Strings Do Everyone Use?

I love DRs. I used to use Sunbeams exclusively, because they feel so nice and sound great. Lately I've been experimenting on coated strings. I ordered a set of Extra Life's and a set of Bootzillas (Both DR) for my Kramer. I tried the Bootzillas first, but while I was putting the E string on, the damn thing snapped. I need to get around to emailing DR about either sending me a new E String, or at least selling me a new one so I don't have to spend another $35 on a new set of strings. Luckily, ...
